Parool Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Media & Communication Studies. She has completed her Bachelors in English Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University and her Masters in Media and Cultural Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She has worked in the field of commercial radio programming and advertising with Reliance Broadcast Network Limited and with internet journalism as part of Aol-Huffington Post. She has also managed marketing and distribution of student films for the School of Media and Cultural Studies, TISS, Mumbai. Her areas of interest include gender in popular culture, changing trends in radio production and new media consumption.
